Just a little More

I think about these x,y,z  and sometimes dream about this a lot more than any other. I warn you that you should posses enormous patience and damn smart to understand what and why I feel this important. Its too hard to step in and walk in my shoes, to be in any other's shoes. :)

The other day my friend who is working in Corp.X told me this. She is, one of my rare friends working in the technology as of mine, and I like talking about the tech stuff with her. Lately Dr.Q visited their DC and these people were excited. While addressing the team, he said like if he were to recruit the people in Corp. X, 75% of these guys( who were in there )wouldn't be in Corp. X,. Anyway that is obvious.:)  But the interesting  part is coming. He asked "How many times do you compile a code before running it fine without errors and functionality met?  Someone said 5-6 times. He said "I don't believe so! .. I guess you do it 20-30 times, on an average!. .."And he continued, "there were people in Corp.X who used to write 3000-line code in a stretch and running it perfectly (!!!) with a single compilation! "
Its hard to believe , But its true. See the difference. I thought about it... and wondered!!! That simply implies that the bulk of software "dudes" are not making it up to the limit and up to the expectations. And we are almost junks ( That's a little exaggerated but still it fits in here, i guess.)
Just think about  degradation of quality and dumbness in us. We are called the "resources" , but how Valuable? How much productive? We often think and complain about the low-pay, stress ,hardships we encounter and facilities we lack. Are we aware of how much we are delivering?  How many of us really think or bother about our intellectual capability and its upgradation ?

This thought is haunting me most of the times. Even I dream the scenario where I am able to deliver a 4000 lines efficient code running perfectly on first compilation. :)

 Lately I was talking to the same (above) friend about her project. She was talking about Ms. M in her client team who has been working for about 20-30 years.
She is able to recollect the code snippets(even with correct variable names )without even having a "glance" at it. Kewl, no?

Yesterday I went out for some shopping. {I don't think I will get bored with it in near future :)) .}
On the way back, I had to cross the road. It was pretty busy there but was  possible to cross even when it wasn't the right signal. And many were doing it too. Even when it signalled me to cross, the vehicles were moving. Its not an odd thing to notice anywhere in Indian cities. No one care about the rules to be followed, unless it provide them with something special.
I was thinking about it over and over again. Actually, why didn't I cross with the other ones? Does it make any good to anyone for I waited the right signal to turn? The answer is NO, in this situation. But we have to obey these rules and I am definite about that/ so that I never give anyone a chance to say " She should have followed the signals" /.
 Sometimes I see people stopping at the signal to let the right signal to turn while the fellow travellers keep on moving ignoring that. I always wanted to go and appreciate them. I really appreciate.

As I have stated earlier, I never haven't felt the immense need for a special person to complete my life. But its sweet to have someone to love, care and think about me.  I feel like, at every point of time in our life we have someone to be with us, to share or whatever. Why do we need this "someone" to be a very single  special person?
*
Generally  people lack professionalism, in every aspect. We do things just for the sake of doing things or for some other things.;not tat we need it to be perfect or error-free.
*
Have the courage to value your own ideas and be original. What others think about it is not your business.
