there may be a lot of mistakes/errors in the following stuff. And these are just generalizations.
ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം! ഇന്നത്തെ ദിവസം " am proud to be an INDIAN" എന്ന് പറയാത്ത ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ ചുരുക്കം ആയിരിക്കും. പക്ഷെ ഇത്രയ്ക്കു അഭിമാനിക്കാന്‍ നമ്മള്‍ എന്ത് നേടി? വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുന്‍പ് സുന്ദര ഭാരതം സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടു , സ്വാതത്ര്യത്തിനു വേണ്ടി പോരാടിയ കുറെ രാജ്യസ്നേഹികലുടെ ചോരയും ജീവനും! അടിമത്തത്തില്‍ നിന്നും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ! .... മറ്റു പലധിന്റെയും ബന്ധനവും!
സ്കൂളില്‍ പഠിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഭാരതത്തെ കുറിച്ചും ഭാരത സംസ്കാരത്തെ കുറിച്ചും ഒത്തിരി അഭിമാനം തോനിയിരിന്നു . ഉപന്യാസങ്ങളിലോക്കെ എത്ര മനോഹരിയായിരുന്നു എന്‍റെ ഭാരതം.
ഈ 61 വര്‍ഷത്തെ യാത്രക്കിടയില്‍ നാം അധിക നേരവും നമ്മള്‍ കണ്ണും പൂട്ടി നില്‍ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു, പിന്നെ കുറെ നേരം കലപിച്ചു , പിന്നെ വളരെ കുറച്ചു സമയം ഒന്നു ഓടാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചു.
അഭിമാനിക്കാന്‍ ഒരു പക്ഷെ കുറെ സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയര്‍ എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍ മാറും , ചില വ്യവസായികളും , ചില എഴുത്തുകാരും നമുക്കിന്നുണ്ടാവാം . പക്ഷെ കള്ളന്മാരുടെയും അക്രമികളുടെയും പീഡകരുടെയു എണ്ണം തിട്ടപെടുതാവുന്നതിലും ഏറെ .
പട്ടിണിയും, തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മയും,അരക്ഷിതത്വം, നിരക്ഷരത, രാഷ്ട്രിയ-വര്‍ഗീയ കലാപങ്ങള്‍, . . . തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മയും , നിരക്ഷരതയും ഒക്കെ ഒരു പരിധി വരെ നമുക്കു മാറ്റാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞു .പക്ഷെ ഇപ്പോഴും ജീവിക്കാന്‍ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ പോലും ഇല്ലാത്ത എത്ര കോടി ജനങ്ങള്‍. കേരളം കുറച്ചു മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥിതിയിലാണെന്ന് തോനുന്നു. അതിന് കാരണം ഗള്ഫ് മണി !
കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഞാന്‍ ബസ്സില്‍ യാത്ര ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ കുറച്ചു സ്കൂള്‍ കുട്ടികളെ കണ്ടു. കീറിയ ഉനിഫോരം, പഴകി പിഞ്ചിയ ബാഗ്, ഉച്ചകഞ്ഞിക്ക് സ്കൂളില്‍ പോകുന്നവര്‍... ഇതു പോലത്തെ ആള്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും എന്‍റെ നാട്ടില്‍ ഉണ്ടൊ എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ അത്ഭുതപ്പെട്ടു പോയീ . കണ്ണ് തുറന്നു ചുറ്റും നോക്കിയാല്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ പലതും കാണാം.
"reservations" ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ...പക്ഷെ അത് ആവശ്യക്കാരന് ഉപകാരപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. ഉള്ളവന് പിന്നെയും പിന്നെയും, ഇല്ലാത്തവന്‍ എന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തവന്‍. അറിവില്ലായ്മയും അവഗണനയും ആണ് ഇവിടെ പ്രധാന കാരണങ്ങള്‍. ഇതൊക്കെ എന്ന് ശരിയാകുമോ ?
പിന്നെ ഇവിടുത്തെ രാഷ്ട്രിയ അന്തരീക്ഷം. സ്വന്തം കാര്യം സിന്ദാബാദ് , സ്വന്തം പോക്കറ്റ് നിറയ്ക്കുക ഇവയൊക്കെയാണ് ഒട്ടുമിക്ക രാഷ്ട്രിയ നേതാക്കളുടെയും മുഖ്യ ലക്ഷ്യം. അതിന് ന്യൂന പക്ഷങ്ങളെയും മറ്റും മുതലെടുക്കുന്നു. രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ഉന്നമനവും, സമാധാനവുംലക്ഷ്യം വെക്കുന്നവര്‍ വിരളമാണ് എന്നതും അവര്‍ ഒറ്റപെട്ടു പോകുന്നു എന്നതിലും വലിയ അത്ഭുതം ഒന്നും അല്ല. സമരങ്ങള്‍ കേരളത്തിന്റെ ട്രേഡ് മാര്‍ക്ക് ആയീ മാറിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരാഴ്ചയില്‍ ഒരു സമരം എങ്കിലും കുറഞ്ഞത് നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. നമുക്കൊക്കെ എന്നാണ് വകതിരിവുണ്ടാവുക?
ഇന്ത്യ യുടെ നല്ലൊരു ശതമാനം ആളുകളുടെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും , വരുമാനവും വളരെ ഉയര്‍നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഐ ടി മേഖലയിലെ ഉന്നമനമാണ് അതിന് പ്രധാന കാരണം. ഇപ്പോള്‍ ശമ്പള പരിഷ്കരണവും ഒക്കെ വന്നപ്പോള്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ജീവനക്കാര്‍ക്കും ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ കാശ്. പാവം കര്‍ഷകനു ഇന്നും കഷ്ടാപാടുകള്‍ തന്നെ മിച്ചം. എന്തെങ്കിലും ഒരു പുതിയ സംവിധാനം കൊണ്ടു വന്നാല്‍ കൊടിയും പിടിച്ചു തടയല്‍. നോക്കി നില്‍ക്കുന്നതിനും തോഷിലാളിക്ക് കൂലി.
കച്ചവടങ്ങളിലോ, ഇടനിലക്കാരന്‍ ലാഭം കൊയ്യുന്നു. ഇപ്പോള്‍ നാണ്യപെരുപ്പം 12.6 ആയി. പാവങ്ങള്‍ പട്ടിണിയിലും.
അഷിമതിയും ആഡ്ബരവും...
ധനികന്‍ വീണ്ടും ധനികനാകുന്നു, പാവപ്പെട്ടവന്‍ പടുകുഴിയില്‍ .
നീതി ന്യായ വ്യവസ്ഥിതകല്‍ ...
പണ്ടൊക്കെ 'കോടതികളെ എങ്കിലും ആശ്രയിക്കാംആയിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോള്‍ അതും ഇല്ലതാകി. ഉത്തരവുകള്‍ പലതിരങ്ങുന്നു, നടപ്പിലാകുന്നില്ലെന്നു മാത്രം. സമ്പത്തും അധികാരവും ഉള്ളവന് " ന്യായ" വിധി.
നമ്മുടെ ഈ വ്യവസ്ഥകളും മറ്റുമൊക്കെ മാറ്റാന്‍ സമയമായില്ലേ?
നമ്മുടെ സംസ്കാരം...കഴിഞ്ഞ പുതു വര്‍ഷ പാര്ട്ടി-കളില്‍ നടന്ന സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ അവ തെളിയിക്ക്‌ുന്നു. മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ബഹുമാനിക്കാനും ആദരിക്കാനും നമ്മള്‍ മറന്നു പോയോ? കുറെ സ്വാമിമാരും , മന്ത്രവാതികളും... സമ്പത്തിനും സന്തോഷത്തിനും വെണ്ടി എന്തും ചെയ്യാന്‍ മടിയില്ലാത്ത കുറെ മനുഷ്യരും.
parliment-ലും മറ്റും നടക്കുന്ന വിശേഷപ്പെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങളും ഒക്കെ നമ്മുടെ സംസാകാരത്തെ " ഉയര്തികാട്ടുന്നു". ഗോധ്ര കലാപവും, ബോംബ് ബ്ലാസ്റ്റ്- ഒക്കെ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രിയ മുതലെടുപ്പായീ മാറ്റി പലരും. എന്തിന് ,ആത്മഹത്യകള്‍ പോലും.ഇങ്ങനെ പറയാനാണെങ്കില്‍ ഒരു നൂറായിരം കാര്യങ്ങളുണ്ട്.
ഇന്നു ആയിരം സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ ത്രിവര്‍ണ പതാക ഉയര്‍ന്നു പതിനായിരം മാര്‍ച്ചുകളും സല്ല്യുട്ടുകളും . പക്ഷെ സുന്ദര ഭാരതം പ്രസംഗങ്ങളിലും , ഭൂപടത്തിലും ഒതിങ്ങിപൂകുന്നു.ഇത്തവണയും ....
എന്തിനാണ് ഇവിടെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ! അഴിമതിക്കും അഴിഞ്ഞാട്ടതിനുമോ ?
കാശ്മീര്‍ എരിയുന്നു ...എത്രനാള്‍ നിലവിളികള്‍ കേട്ടില്ലെന്നു നടിക്കും?
ഇതിനെല്ലാം ഉത്തരവാതികള്‍ ഞാനും നിങ്ങളുമൊക്കെ ആണ്. പറയേണ്ടത് പലതും പറഞ്ഞില്ല, ചെയ്യേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത് പലതും ചെയ്തില്ല. "ഞാന്‍ മാത്രം വിചാരിച്ചാല്‍ ഇതൊന്നും ശരിയാവില്ല " എന്ന് എല്ലാരും ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നെ എന്തെങ്കിലുമൊക്കെ നഷ്ടപെടുത്താതെ ഒന്നും നേടാനും പറ്റില്ല.ഇതൊക്കെ എഴുതാന്‍ വളരെ എളുപ്പമാണ്. പക്ഷെ ചെയ്യാന്‍ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടും.
വിപ്ലവം മുഴക്കേണ്ട... ചോരയും ഒഴുക്കേണ്ട ... ഒരു നല്ല മനസ്സു എങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടായാല്‍ മതി ; കുറച്ചു ആത്മാത്രതയും സ്നേഹവും... മനസാക്ഷിക്ക് അനുസ്രിതമായി പെരുമാറാന്‍.
നാനാത്വത്തില്‍ എകതവും, മതേതരത്വവുമൊക്കെ പുസ്തകതാളുകളില്‍ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടത് .സുന്ദരഭാരതം എന്നത് ഇന്നും ഒരു സ്വപ്നവും ...

I am taking this matter much lightly perhaps it may be annoying to others still am saying my opinion
This Independence is just an independence from those who conquered and made us slaves ... not an internal independence but just external from other nations ......still there are starving millions and everyone facing one or other problem ..but lemme remind its humane character that we unite only during troubles...
Just think we look our own matters not even our family matters
But when our family face a problem which even questions our existence we stay with the family
Similarly all families look their affairs but for a village if a problem comes which questions the existence of all families they unite
Similarly villages to state
State to nation
And if a problem comes to human race even all these nations unite
But its all for individual selfishness everyone aims there own existence , their own comfort
100% selfish .......no exception even if a person claims i cant agree as if he sacrifice something at least it gives him mental satisfaction which is also selfish in one way or other

There is a lot to be commented here.
For starters, I should say that we belong to the youth which is *supposed* to improve the situation. Not the ones to complain/blame/find-only-mistakes. -- I shall make this point much clearer in some comment later. (As I am busy now)

As Sreerag said, everyone is selfish. But there should be a limit for this selfishness. alle?? Ya..everyone aims only at their own existence and intentions, but that should not be in the cost of other's existence.

how can we improve/change then? we are always aware of the 'right' things we have and we appreciate that. but most people dont even think about the 'wrongs' and correct it. the 'wrongs' weighs HEAVIER compared with other.

just a little of what i wanted to say: these guys can fool you in broad daylight.even if you know that someone is corrupt, you yourself have a feeling,"it's all normal".so we keep quiet.we see all the dirty stuff and those who do it are bold because no one speaks out and even those who do are very small in number.what am saying is that there should be opinion.in democracy, you will be heard only if you are large in number.what i mean to say that if someone(minister,system,nation) does anything wrong, a loud collective voice should sound.say, you are a thief(with a good image before the society): you continue to steal if no one finds it out. you continue to steal even if everyone knows that you steal, but no one mentions that in public.because in that case you take it for granted that the people might not be knowing that you are a thief. but what if someone shout at your face in public: "i,know that you are a thief". further, what if everyone shouts out together. no one will dare again. at least those who can't afford to ruin their public opinion. if someone is asking for bribe, don't excuse it and try to get your work done. call him a thief before the whole office. if everyone does so, do you think he will ask for it again.
we all are educated. the VAST majority that elects the indian government is uneducated, has distorted views of our leaders, is easily fooled by them etc. they commit the mistake of electing the wrong leaders. we can't blame them. But what about us, the so called young generation, who have access to all information, have infinte networking capabilities, have a decent idea of who is good and who is bad. why is it that we dont shout aloud(together) that those uneducated people can hear our voice.
To put it in simple words...I am thinking of for a long time to have a platform, something like a community where you can put forward your opinions, the ones in the interest of our nation. no political bias, nothing. behave as a responsible citizen.
today's event for instance: there are many people who have been deeply troubled because of today's hartal. take the instance of prakash's family.and you know what they say in the news? panimudakkil raajyam muzhuvan panku chernnu. as if we all were enjoying it, it was all in our interest. and what is the truth actually? though we all suffer, these guys slip into our unconscious thoughts the idea that what they are doing is correct. THAT 3 crore*24hrs IS ENTIRELY THEIRS IF THEY WISH SO. someone is laughing now for having used us all to their advantage. when will we get bold enough? you or I cannot speak alone. but what if we, a large section strongly say that I faced such and such problems today, I didnot wish to have a hartal today, as a solution to the national problems.on one hand they force you to close shops, and on the other they propagate:everyone closed shops and took part...really,it's time to react.
