dreamz...they have got wings
May be its some kinda imagination. But sometimes they give us hope, keep us moving. Dreams are beautiful, like the rainbows. I often want to heave them down, but it’s not that easy; not at all.
The past.
My first dream: NO BRUSHING, NO BATHING. Why should we waste water?
When I was a child, my dream was to wear beautiful frocks with a lot of frills. I used to look at those glamorous girls for a long time. Then, it was to climb a tree with those boys. They were always first to reach the top. I wished to reach there first. That dream is still a dream.
The other thing, playing shuttle...I was the one who always lost... (Tears...) “at least one game God” I used to pray. Those boys dominated there too. Later, after 6-8 years I made it. Yeah...
We friends used to go for fishing those days. Catching more is a way to show your smartness. I wanted to catch more, but that never came true.
Then at home…I wanted to sleep with my sister, but she never allowed. Now the dream just vanished.
Then at school, I wanted to score good marks. Until 3rd STD I got the last ranks. All of a sudden I began to score good marks. But never the first place.
When I started learning Hindi @ school, my dream was to get a transfer to another school where there is NO HINDI. Never come true.I struggled a lot to get pass marks.
Then again a dream about glamour--wanted to try salwaar, lipsticks, mascara etc. My mother had no interest in those all stuffs. So I let that dream go somewhere.
Until 11th std I wore frocks and no make ups. And I hate frocks now. And in sports, several dreams like to break that national record of 15 years, to break that state record of 25 years. Those dreams, i was very very near to that but something was missing; may be Luck. ANYWAY NO TEARS. My dream to represent my country, still remaining and no chances.( Sure, that is an end not a bend).
I was a big fan of our basket ball team of our school. Great guys! Really I wanted to make some affair…
@ college, I dreamt to become a great engineer drawing 5 digit salary. Dreamt of making a true friend / boyfriend. Hmmm...ITS ONLY A DREAM.
and wanted to do something for the poor, but always failed.
For a long time I was living in a dream world, far away from the realities. You know , its very hard to come back once you are out there.
During this time i began to weave dreams for my future.
First, my ambitions
(Professional) to become an Army Woman. Disciplined, Mature, Responsible, Bold.
(About life) to become a perfect human, I mean a perfect daughter, a perfect friend, a perfect woman, a perfect wife and a perfect mother.
Dreams about my family.
My dream was to become a nun (every convent school product thinks that way?)
I wonder the way my dreams about that got transformed!
Now I dream about a dark, tall, indecent, rough guy to be my partner. And a lot of kids…at least a volley ball team.
And my education
Wanted to do some course in designing.
And some silly dreams like
Walk along the Great Wall of China.
Participate in Amazing Race-Asia.
Modeling (I mean part modeling (my hair…))
And a lot more
Right now, I don’t have much new dreams. But a few like to sleep peacefully, listen patiently, forgive sincerely, cry solemnly and smile beautifully from the heart.
Cheers,
tressy

will think abt it...
are you really working towards entering army?!
@ "wanted to do something for the poor, but always failed."
if u really wanna do something this might help u. there is a difference between want & commitment. if u want to do something like that it is like something that is for us, i mean it is a "i wanna feel good" factor. but really if u wanna do something, heve commitment towards it. commitment is doing all it takes to get the job done. well just wanna encourage people who wanna make a difference.
Hey and a very very very good post! i loved it. went back to lots of old memories. thanks :)
