100 & Something!

I made a confession today! Actually, I need a lot of preparation before a confession and this time a lot more. Often, I find it difficult to admit to God, myself and others that I have committed a sin. It really requires tremendous amount wisdom & insight {MATURITY}, which I lack a lot. The most intricate part is to say ‘sorry’ to others. It’s not at all easy. But believe me, doing so will give you very much relief and some good feeling which is beyond description.

For Catholics, confession is one of the Sacraments. So we are supposed to do it once in a month (/at least once in an year). First, we need to ‘recollect’ all our sins and have to say some (formal) prayers. And then, admit it to God and yourself (I usually end up in tears), promise ‘never again’ and forgive others’ (Isn’t it difficult?). Then confess to the priest. He will give you some advice and penance. Sometimes in case of very serious sins, the priest asks you the details. The priest offers some prayers. And he should keep the whole thing a secret. Again, some prayers (formal and personal). This is the procedure.

The most beautiful part is you feel very peaceful after this. (At least until you leave the church).If you are not that determined and faithful (to yourself & God), there is no meaning in doing this. And this is NOT a license to commit sins over and over. If you consider so, it’s a sin.

My thoughts:

• You are good and beautiful than you think you are. Also dreadful and ugly.
• I cannot love anyone, but me. If I ever love anyone else, it’s because I am very deeply in love with me.
• Some kindness in your heart and a smile on your face can do wonders.
• You need no courage to die, but a lot to live.
• Admitting guilt makes you feel better than wearing a mask.
• The best way to prove your faith and fidelity to God is your life.
