Another chapter is finished now. Yes, my college life. Thank God!
Here are some elements from that chapter.
1. Get Outs—Only once, from the lab. You know for what? For singing (?).
2. I became the ‘favorite’ of mech guys when I started a community against them in Orkut . Actually it was a wonderful experience, especially the consequences. I got some 50-60 scraps, which I still don’t understand. Really I enjoyed. FUN.
3. Premanand Sir’s comments: there were a lot, here is my favorite – he was giving some instructions about the experiments in communication lab. As usual, I felt bored. ( did I sleep?). suddenly a sound.... Exactly“ എന്താ ട്രെസ്സി, വെല്ലോ പ്രണയത്തിലും പെട്ടോ,
4. Confluence 2006- I participated in about 10 events. The most “wonderful” event was our skit. oooh my God, a girls only skit. Terrible!!!
5. Bhoomika 2007- we performed a group song. It was the program which got the biggest ‘applause’ ( we couldn’t even hear our voice ). Thank God, there were no tomatoes and eggs.
6. Sports / games- that was really great. I played basketball (??but it was similar to rugby!) and throw ball for the first time in my life. After the first basketball match, my two ankles got twisted and I coundnt walk. But the next day, I played shuttle (with bandages on both legs). And after that, hamstring pain/pull and back pain.( anyway, it was not new to me). Those were the most beautiful days at my college. I came to know about more people, sharing, team spirit and all. GREAT!
7. Campus placement: I couldn’t even get through the test of Siemens and i-flex. I became very disappointed then. The best interview I ever had was of SASKEN’s . I didn’t get through that, but I did my best. TCS interviews were quite easy. Infy’s , it was fun!!!And L&T , it was the worst, but I got through! Thank God.
8. My academics- I learned nothing much technically. Actually it was a different learning style –for exams only. We used to collect all the essential copies of textbooks ( THANKS TO SKCL & MOTHER MARY)during study leave and studies were started just 2 weeks before exams. Now all the exams are over and all the results have arrived. I somehow managed to complete my engineering degree (with one supplementary). It was really a horrible experience to me. I was always afraid of lab exams and in 5th semester I got a very simple experiment, but didn’t get the output. I cursed the CRO, Power supply, bread board and everything. Oh My God!
Now I have an aggregate of 71.2 %. I am satisfied.
9. No intimate friends or any affairs during my college life.
10. This thing is a part from my hostel life----I stayed at ‘Divya’ hostel. it’s the best hostel , great seniors, nice juniors and above all a very loving and understanding warden.
The “ welcoming “ of new DIVYANZ are concluded by a contest called ‘Miss Divya’ contest on Divya day. the procedure, cat walking- self introduction-elimination-question round – common question round. I reached the final round, and then, u know what happened??? Refer the 6thpoint in the previous post, ha…
Cheers,
Tressy

no witnesses available rite now.
PS: thanz for the info.
@ sands
i wasn't a witness, but knowing her for quite some time, i can say it with conviction that it was not a memory loss, but a loss of 'bodham'. 'bodhakkedu' hits her on a regular basis.
